Look of the Day, June 09

Finally we are getting sun in our day after weeks of rain! With the sun comes the heat. I am not even going to complain because I prefer warm over cold and this winter cold madness does not want to go away. But now it’s warm and I wanted to wear a nice midi skirt that flows with that summer like breeze and was channeling my inner feminine side.

I kept it simple but still added a few special touches to give this weekend what I felt were a few wow factor. I wore my super lightweight and easy breezy red fun skirt from Hollister. I kept the top simple and used my new feminine shirt with beautiful simplistic details on the top portion that I recently purchased from Abercrombie and Fitch. To add a bit of detail, I kept it again simple by pairing this look with my brown sandals from Express, and of course finished it with my statement earrings completed with a big pearl and a huge blue stone from Express that matched my beautiful ring that was a gift from my mom but also hand crafted in a boutique in Lambertville.
