While the cold is hitting us with a strong force, staying warm and cozy is my motto. Here I rounded up my 5 current January favorites:
A&E’s Rustic Open Front Sweater Cardigan
Speaking of cozy and warm, I’m all about open front sweaters. This specific one is from American Eagle and feels like you’re wearing a robe but with jeans. The great thing is that it goes really well with a pair of joggers as well. The color is beautiful and definitely a classic, especially during the fall and winter season. American Eagle always has so many of these types of sweaters and sales too! So, keep your eyes peeled!
Summer Fridays Exfoliating Mask
Summer Fridays has been known for the Jet Lag Mask, but now with the new release of their latest mask, Summer Fridays Overtime Mask, it too has stolen many hearts - including mine! The texture, color, and smell feels as if you are brining a spa into your home. You definitely can see the difference after using it. Your skin looks less tired and feels softer. The color of this mask is orange like it’s packaging. It smells just like Fall, if it were a mask. So grab your mask brush, fluffy robe, and a movie and get ready for a relaxing kind of night.
Anthropologie’s White Scarf
This year I started to give more attention to the scarves that I have. Not only did I want something beautiful, but I wanted something that actually worked and warmed me up. I decided to look around for an oversized scarf that would work with many different styles. That perfect item ended up being an Anthropologie’s scarf. I purchased the white color. These scarves have many more colors, that can elevate any outfit. It’s soft as butter and oversized so it feels like you are being hugged by your favorite blanket.
Bobbi Brown Art Stick in Rose Brown
I am always on the hunt to find the perfect brown-nude color. This time, I discovered the Bobbi Brown Art Stick in the color rose brown. This lip pencil is a great thick size, so you definitely get more bang for your buck. The consistency is great and it is not drying. It does have a bit of a matte finish to it but I personally feel my lips hydrated while using it; I do not feel discomfort.
Marc Fisher Brown Boots
This year I came to the realization that I actually don’t own any brown boots (unless you count my snow boots). I personally have a hard time finding boots and booties because I have very skinny legs and many boots are just too large and look ridiculous when I’m wearing them. Now, it was time to find boots that fit my feet and ankles while being the specific color brown that I wanted to add to my closet. I decided one evening to go into a DSW and take a look to see if they had any new selections of brown boots and YES THEY DID! That night, I purchased the heeled brown booties from Marc Fisher for under $70. These beauties are comfortable and I am ready to wear them! These are truly a staple piece for anyone’s closet.
